What are the trends in ethnic fashion?

Ethnic influences have been in vogue in recent years. Original, colourful, ethnic fashion draws its inspiration from Africa, South America, Asia and India. These clothes, jewels, accessories in warm and multicolored colors bring a touch of style and exoticism.

But what are the uncontrollable ethnic trends in ethnic fashion.

African Wax

African Wax fabric is very popular. Originally from Indonesia, it later landed in Holland and became known in Africa. It is a symbol of African culture and is used to make traditional clothing. With its colourfully patterned fabrics, the wax print is a must on the African continent and internationally. Wax print can be worn as a total look or on specific accessories. 

 Dashiki

Native to West Africa, Dashiki is a brightly coloured embroidered fabric made in Africa. With a central motif and geometric designs. In Africa, Dashiki is very popular. Ample and comfortable, it is worn for all occasions in life. It is an essential garment during the summer season. It comes in all forms: t-shirt, shirt, dress, skirt, tops, or accessories. Originally, the term Dashiki is derived from the word "danshiki" in Yoruba or "danciki" in Hausa. It has several names such as Adis Abeba, Angelina, Miriam or Makeba.

Aztec print

With its colourful geometric patterns and triangular friezes inspired by Native American civilization, the colourful Aztec print is a strong trend in ethnic fashion. This bold print can be found on all summer outfits such as skirts, tops, dresses, swimsuits, shorts, shirts, jackets, shoes and handbags.

Navajo print

Navajo print is an ethnic print inspired by Native American culture. With its geometric shapes and original patterns, it is very fashionable. This print comes from the culture of the American Indian Navajo people. They're related to the Apaches. At the time, this people made traditional carpets, blankets and clothing with this brightly coloured print.
